Q: What are HVIT’s rates?
Our normal rates are:
$36-$40/hour on Monday through Friday from 7:30am-4pm.
$46-$50/hour on Monday through Friday from 4-9pm and on weekends.
Q: Is there a membership fee? Can I be a guest?
Yes. There is a $50 annual membership fee per person. Children 18 and under do not have to pay for membership. Guest fees are $10 per person in addition to hourly rates.
Q: Do you offer anything beyond tennis?
Yes. Your membership entitles you to both a great tennis experience on the courts, as well as unlimited trips to the club if you just want to watch tennis on TV in our lounge or have any tennis questions (rackets, stringing, strategy – you name it!). However, some of these benefits may be limited depending on the current health crisis status.
Q: Can someone who is not a member fill in for one of our seasonal contract plays?
Normally, everyone is welcome. They would be subject to a $10 guest fee.
Q: What happens if the weather is bad?
The club almost always stays open, but in the event it is too difficult for us to make it in we will post something on this website as well as making every attempt to contact someone from every group who is scheduled to play.
Q: When will you be opening?
We are opening on a daily basis for our 2021-2022 season on Sunday, October 3, 2021.
Q: When will we be asked to commit to seasonal time?
Seasonal time is just about completely sold out, but do not hesitate to contact us about what we still have left or to be put on a waiting list.
Q: What types of payment will HVIT be accepting?
At the present time we will accept either a check, cash or Zelle.
Q: During cold winter mornings will the first group out (8am or 9am) be freezing for the first hour?
Absolutely not! Our courts are thermostatically controlled. In addition, whoever is staffing the desk each morning will arrive early to turn up the heat! We want everyone’s playing experience to be great!
Q: I have a question not in the FAQ. How do I get an answer?
Pleas email us. All our contact information is on the home page.
